Manchester United reached a new low on Monday when they were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace – ensuring they suffered a record number of league defeats.
United have now lost 13 times in the Premier League this season, which is a record number of defeats for the Red Devils, who remain eighth in the English top-flight with three matches left to play in the 2023-24 campaign.

Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta scored in the first half to give the Eagles a significant lead at half-time at Selhurst Park before Tyrick Mitchell fired in just before the hour mark to give the home team a three-goal cushion. Olise added a fourth for Palace as United were consigned to a humiliating loss against Oliver Glasner’s team.
United’s latest humbling will surely see an increase in pressure on coach Erik ten Hag. The Old Trafford club are said to be considering sacking the Dutch coach at the end of his second season in charge due to their underwhelming performances and results.
